In 2003, The Woodlands Dance Force opened their doors as a solely competitive dance studio. Now, known as The Woodlands Dance Center, the studio has grown to incorporate classes for the recreational dancer. Offering recreational classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Creative Movement & Acrobatics, as well as two performance opportunities a year, TWDC strives to create well rounded, confident dancers, outside of a competitive environment.

For the dancer interested in competitive dance, The Woodlands Dance Center is still home to the National Award winning competitive team, The Woodlands Dance Force.  TWDF holds auditions annually each May, and attends up to 5 competitions regionally & nationally each year.  TWDF competitive dancers have gone on to dance at LSU, Cal State Fullerton, Princeton University, TCU, UT, A&M, Texas Tech, OU, UNT, Kilgore College, Texas State & Sam Houston State.
